The site also has a referal system offering members 25% of all gold membership for people they refer who subsequently sign up. The minimum payout level to the member affiliate is £25 earnings, and very few reach that, but in trying to do so, gain us recruits.

The server we are on is expensive and represents a big part of the in costs at £700 a month (I hear you gasp), but hey , we went on advice and we are stuck in a contract on that for another year.

Very important - Our members refer arpund 2,000 to 3,000 email addresses a day via their MSN Messenger lists (a cool feature we have!), as we have worked to get Sender Score Certified, all emails to hotmail accounts get delivered in the inboxes NOT the junk folder, and without a question mark next to them - that's a big advantage.

The site represents huge potential - and I dont know how much you need to live off each month?! but at around $10,000 dollars a month profit (and that's without moving to a cheaper server) the potential is huge.

We have also added more Google adsense to the account which at present is bringing in on average an extra $100 day (on top of the above figures).

Reason for selling? Sounds silly, but at 35 I feel a bit long in the tooth for a site that needs a more energetic person / company behind it.

As I also manually approve every image uploaded (we crop them so they all look nice on the 'whos online' member searches, I cant commit so much time in the evenings.

A nice web2.0 makeover for the site would really finish it off nicely, and I am sure that the right energetic and ethusiastic new owner could do an amazing job with a site that is providing guaranteed income for the new owner - and in fairness it only requires 2 - 3 hours a day.

The site, I should mention, has a UK userbase of about 90% the rest is split over Germany / Canada / USA etc.

The site has many directions it could take - we recently allowed all members to use the site for free, which in affect doubled the daily adsense take to $200 a day and member referals / signup conversions went up very high, therefor consideration could be given to making the site free, and living off of the adsense revenue, which if the site did just 4 times the traffic, would equate to the same income as currently enjoyed, but potentially far more people would join and use.
